What inspired you to work in Wellness/Fitness?
I initially started in Pre-PT school, then did some volunteer hours at a PT clinic and realized it wasn’t the atmosphere for me. I still loved exercise and health and anatomy, so I stuck with Exercise Science through undergrad. I was able to find the “other” things you can do with an Exercise Science degree, and realized I was truly in my perfect space.
What do you enjoy most about working at the Wellness Center?
The members! Where would we be without everyone who comes to our facility each day? (Hint: the answer is at home and sad.)
Favorite way to stay active or healthy?
I love strength training and yoga. I want to be able to pick up my kids for as long as possible!
